About Ronald B. Allen
Ronald B. Allen is Senior Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary, where his teaching and research interests are focused on the Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament Use of the Old Testament. He served as the senior editor for the Old Testament in The New King James Version. He was also the Old Testament editor for The Nelson Study Bible and The Nelson’s New Illustrated Bible Commentary. He has written extensively on the Psalms.
His books include Wonder of Worship: A New Understanding of the Worship Experience (Word, 2001), Lord of Song: The Messiah Revealed in the Psalms (Multnomah, 1985), When the Song is New: Understanding the Kingdom and the Psalms (Thomas Nelson, 1983).
