About J. Paul Tanner

Dr. J. Paul Tanner is the Middle East director for BEE World, traveling frequently to various Middle Eastern countries to teach courses for Arab believers in Christ. Over the course of his career, he has taught at five seminaries around the world. For five years, he and his wife lived in Amman, Jordan. During this time, he was professor of Hebrew and Old Testament studies at the Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary, and served as the academic dean of the school. Prior to coming to the Middle East, he and his family lived in Singapore for eight years. During part of this time, he was a lecturer in Hebrew and Old Testament at Singapore Bible College.

Dr. Tanner has had a number of articles published in evangelical journals, includingBibliotheca Sacra, the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, and Trinity Journal. He is the author of Worshiping God in the Psalms and Daniel: Man of Faith, Integrity and Insight (courses written for BEE World), and has written a commentary on the epistle to the Hebrews for The Grace New Testament Commentary.
