Eugene Carpenter was Professor of Old Testament, Hebrew, and Biblical Theology at Bethel College. He wrote commentaries on Daniel and Exodus, as well as the volume on Deuteronomy in the New Illustrated Bible Background Commentary. He wrote translations of Exodus and Numbers. Carpenter served as a pastor and teacher in a variety of church and ministry settings.
