About Boyd Luter

Boyd Luter is Adjunct Online Professor of New Testament at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously he taught full-time at Crichton College, LeTourneau University, Talbot School of Theology, Cedarville University, and Criswell College, and part-time—or in adjunct roles—at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, Ashland Theological Seminary, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has authored several books, includingLooking Back, Moving On (NavPress, 1993), God Behind the Seen: Expositions of the Books of Ruth and Esther (Baker, 1995), and Inspired Preaching: A Survey of Preaching in the New Testament (Broadman & Holman, 2002). In addition, he wrote the notes on Luke, Galatians, and Revelation for the Holman Christian Standard Bible Study Bible and contributed to theAnchor Bible DictionaryHolman Bible HandbookThe Complete Who’s Who of the Bible, and Holman Concise Bible Commentary. Luter has written numerous articles and book reviews for various publications, including Bibliotheca SacraJournal of the Evangelical Theological SocietyFaith and MissionJournal of Pastoral Practice, and Criswell Theological Review.
